Built by an engineer who spent three years watching factories pay for energy they couldn't see.
From 2019 to 2022, Astrid Lindqvist worked as a controls engineer at a Stockholm-based SCADA integrator serving steel mills and paper plants across Sweden and Finland. The job was to put monitoring systems into facilities. The problem she kept encountering was not the hardware — it was that the energy data from Modbus-connected meters and PLCs never made it anywhere useful. Plant managers received monthly bills without the load curve context to understand them. Energy consultants arrived once a year, took manual readings, and left a report. Between visits, nothing changed. In late 2022 she left to build the continuous monitoring layer that was missing.
"A factory running a 10 MW electrical load has more sensors per square metre than most buildings — and less continuous energy visibility than a residential consumer with a smart meter. That gap is not a technology problem. It is a data access problem. GridPulsr closes it."
Metered data, not estimates
Every figure GridPulsr shows is derived from 1-second resolution sensor readings from your plant. We do not model, interpolate, or estimate load curves we did not measure.
Software only. No hardware lock-in.
GridPulsr is a software platform. We do not sell proprietary sensors or require rip-and-replace of existing PLC infrastructure. Our gateway reads standard CT signals and Modbus/OPC-UA registers from equipment already installed on your floor.
Direct engineering contact
Our team holds backgrounds in industrial control systems and sensor integration. Pilot enquiries are handled by Astrid personally. Support tickets go to a controls engineer, not a first-line queue.
Controls engineers and data engineers. No growth-stage org chart.
Astrid Lindqvist
CEO & FounderIndustrial controls engineering background. From 2019 to 2022, deployed Modbus-based SCADA systems in steel mills and paper plants across Sweden and Finland. Founded GridPulsr in Stockholm in late 2022. MSc Electrical Engineering, KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
Erik Magnusson
Lead Controls EngineerSpecialist in Modbus RTU/TCP and OPC-UA integration across process plants. Handles gateway commissioning and protocol-level troubleshooting for pilot deployments. Eight years in industrial sensor integration across automotive and food processing facilities.
Sofia Bergqvist
Software EngineerFull-stack engineer responsible for the data ingestion pipeline and dashboard. Previously built time-series monitoring infrastructure at a Swedish industrial automation company. Focused on keeping 1-second resolution data accessible without a data science team on the customer side.
We are a small team and we hire slowly. If you have a controls or data engineering background and an interest in plant energy systems, reach out directly.
