One platform. Every energy load on your plant floor.
From sensor gateway to daily optimization report in 48 hours. Four integrated modules — load curves, thermal efficiency, compressed air, demand peaks — built for mid-size EU manufacturing facilities.
Four modules. No SCADA replacement required.
Load Curve Ingestion
1-second resolution power draw data from every monitored asset. GridPulsr reads from existing Modbus registers, MQTT topics, OPC-UA nodes, and pulse meter outputs without replacing your PLC or SCADA infrastructure. Data streams to a plant-wide energy ledger in the GridPulsr cloud.
Rolling 30-day load profiles reveal startup sequence patterns, production rhythm anomalies, and shift-boundary waste events that 15-minute interval SCADA snapshots mask entirely. The Leistungspreis — the capacity-charge component on German and Scandinavian industrial tariffs — is set by the highest 15-minute mean in the billing period. 1-second data is the only way to see the event before it locks in.
Thermal Efficiency Analytics
Furnace heating ramps, steam trap telemetry, and heat exchanger inlet-outlet delta-T combined into a continuous thermal efficiency score per asset. GridPulsr tracks refractory heat loss between production runs, identifies combustion efficiency drift across shift handovers, and flags soaking time overruns in continuous furnace operations.
Output maps directly to ISO 50001:2018 measurement plan requirements — energy baseline documentation, EnPI deviation alerts, and structured improvement evidence — without manual audit walkthroughs. GridPulsr does not certify ISO 50001 compliance; it provides the continuous measurement infrastructure that supports your certification process.
Compressed Air Monitoring
Continuous pressure decay analysis during non-production windows — typically overnight or between shifts — quantifies leak rates per zone and converts them to kWh equivalent waste. In typical mid-size compressed air systems, observed leak rates range from 5% to 25% of total compressor output, equivalent to 800–4,000 kWh/month in wasted electricity. GridPulsr also monitors compressor staging sequencing and over-pressure events above the working setpoint that accelerate wear on seals and fittings.
No ultrasonic walking required: pressure decay signatures identify the fault window and magnitude automatically. The output is a prioritised leak report with zone, estimated volume, and kWh cost per month — not a list of every fitting to inspect manually.
Demand Peak Detection
EU industrial electricity tariffs — including the German Leistungspreis structure and equivalent capacity charge components on Nordic tariffs — are set by the highest 15-minute mean demand recorded in the billing period. One machine startup event at the wrong time can inflate the capacity charge for the entire month. GridPulsr monitors the rolling 15-minute demand average and sends an alert when the plant is within 2 MW of its historical peak threshold — before the billing window closes.
Historical peak analysis shows exactly which assets and startup sequences caused capacity charge events in previous months. In pilot deployments, facilities have adjusted machine startup sequences and identified 5–12% capacity charge reduction opportunity in the first billing cycle after installation.
Works with your existing infrastructure.
GridPulsr is a monitoring layer, not a replacement. It connects to the protocols and meters already installed on your plant floor — Modbus RTU/TCP from PLCs and VFDs, MQTT from edge gateways, OPC-UA from Siemens and ABB automation systems, 4–20 mA current signals and pulse meters from utility metering points. No PLC replacement, no SCADA migration, no rewiring.

Bring your asset list, your existing protocol stack (Modbus register map, OPC-UA node list, or simply the PLC model numbers), and the EU reporting obligations your plant is working toward. A GridPulsr controls engineer will confirm compatibility and scope the pilot in one call.
